Reality television personality Jay Dudhane, best known for winning Splitsvilla 13 and appearing on Bigg Boss Marathi 3, has been arrested in connection with an alleged ₹4.61 crore real estate fraud, police confirmed on Sunday.
Dudhane was taken into custody at Mumbai airport on Saturday following a complaint filed by a retired engineer. The complainant has accused Dudhane and four of his family members of cheating him by selling five commercial shops in Thane that were already mortgaged to a bank.
According to police officials, the victim was allegedly persuaded to invest after being shown forged documents, including a fake bank clearance certificate and a counterfeit demand draft worth ₹4.95 crore. The fraud reportedly came to light only after the bank issued a notice to take possession of the mortgaged properties.
Senior inspector Pravin Mane confirmed that the fitness trainer-turned-model was arrested based on the FIR and will be questioned further as part of the investigation.

Police have registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for offences related to cheating and forgery against Dudhane and his relatives. Authorities said the probe is ongoing and more details are expected to emerge.
The arrest comes just weeks after Dudhane tied the knot with Harshala in December 2025, marking a sharp turn in his personal and professional life.
Jay Dudhane rose to prominence after his victory on Splitsvilla 13 and later expanded his popularity through Bigg Boss Marathi 3. Over the years, he has also featured in Marathi films and television serials, building a steady presence in the regional entertainment industry.
