Lock Upp 2 Top 5 Finalists Confirmed as Akanksha Chamola and Varun Yadav Evicted

Date:

Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa has reached its final stage, with the show’s top five contestants now confirmed. In a dramatic episode ahead of the grand finale, Akanksha Chamola and content creator Varun Yadav were eliminated from the Netflix reality show.

Their exits brought the finalist line-up down to Shivangi Joshi, Shreya Kalra, Ram Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde and Yogesh Rawat. The episode featured a series of twists, group decisions and elimination tasks that determined who would continue competing for the season’s trophy.

The contestants were divided into two groups: the “deserving” and “undeserving” contestants. The deserving group included Yogesh Rawat, Varun Yadav and Shreya Kalra, while the undeserving group consisted of Akanksha Chamola, Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde. Both groups were given an important role in deciding the next phase of the competition.

The deserving contestants were asked to choose one member from the opposing group for elimination. After discussing their options, Yogesh, Varun and Shreya unanimously selected Akanksha Chamola. The decision ended her journey just before the finale.

At the same time, the contestants in the undeserving group were given the power to select one contestant who would directly qualify for the finale. Akanksha, Ram and Shilpa chose Shreya Kalra, making her the second finalist of the season after Shivangi Joshi.

The competition continued after Akanksha’s elimination, with another task deciding the remaining finalist positions. Shivangi Joshi and Shreya Kalra, who had already secured their places in the finale, were given the opportunity to save contestants. Shivangi acted first and chose Ram Kapoor, making him the third finalist.

Shreya then selected Shilpa Shinde, securing her place in the final five. The last spot came down to Yogesh Rawat and Varun Yadav. Before Varun could be saved, Shivangi chose Yogesh, making him the fifth finalist and ending Varun’s run on the show.

Varun Yadav, also known as Laila, had emerged as one of the more entertaining personalities of the season. His elimination came as a surprise to viewers because he had remained part of the competition until the final stage. Akanksha’s exit was equally significant, as her journey ended after the deserving group voted against her.

With the top five now confirmed, Shivangi Joshi, Shreya Kalra, Ram Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde and Yogesh Rawat will compete for the title. The grand finale of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa is scheduled to stream on Netflix, bringing the season’s intense rivalries, emotional moments and controversial episodes to a close.
