iQOO has started teasing the India-specific version of its upcoming Z11 smartphone, and the new design marks a noticeable shift from the model sold in China. The company has also revealed the colour options, giving buyers an early look at the phone’s styling before the official launch.
The teaser shows the iQOO Z11 in two colourways, which are expected to be called Aurora Green and Celestial Blue. The India variant features a horizontally aligned, pill-shaped rear camera module instead of the squarish camera island seen on the Chinese version. The module houses two large camera rings, a smaller third sensor and a circular LED ring light on one side.
The rear camera arrangement sits on a raised aluminium island with polished chamfered edges, while the rest of the phone appears slimmer and more curved. iQOO has clearly gone for a more premium and modern look for the Indian market, with a curved rear panel and a more streamlined overall profile.
This design is quite different from the China model of the Z11, which has a flat back, flat frame and a squarish camera layout with vertically stacked cameras. The Chinese version is offered in black, white and blue, but the Indian model is being positioned as a distinct product rather than a simple rebrand.
The India variant is also expected to feature a curved display, adding to its more premium appearance. That change, along with the new camera island and colour options, suggests iQOO is tailoring the phone specifically for Indian buyers rather than directly copying its overseas design language.
Although the brand has not officially confirmed the launch date yet, the teaser activity indicates that the iQOO Z11 is expected to arrive soon. The combination of a redesigned look, fresh colours and a more premium form factor should help the phone stand out in the crowded mid-premium segment.
For now, the reveal has done what teasers are supposed to do: build curiosity. With Aurora Green and Celestial Blue now in the spotlight, the iQOO Z11 India variant is shaping up to be one of the more interesting smartphone launches to watch this month.
