Report: Apple's Upcoming Foldable iPhone Ultra Expected to Support MagSafe Charging
By Siddharth

Apple is set to introduce its first foldable iPhone, widely rumored to be named the iPhone Ultra, during a launch event scheduled for September 9. Ahead of the announcement, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman shared additional insights into the device's expected features and pricing during an interview with Tom's Guide.
According to Gurman, the iPhone Ultra will likely include support for MagSafe charging, even though leaked renders and dummy units of the device have not shown the magnetic ring typically associated with the feature. Gurman explained that Apple was able to integrate MagSafe into the slim iPhone Air, suggesting the company could similarly accommodate the technology in the foldable model.
The iPhone Ultra is rumored to be approximately 4.5mm thick when unfolded. Reports indicate the device will feature a 5.5-inch external display alongside a 7.8-inch flexible inner display. The inner screen is said to have a crease that is less noticeable compared to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8.
Other anticipated features include a dual-rear camera system, Apple's newest chipset and modem, and a hinge designed for durability.
