JKCA Opens Applications for IPL 2027 Auction
The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced that it will accept applications from all players registered with the association who wish to take part in the IPL 2027 Player Auction. In a notice released by the JKCA, eligible players are required to submit their full details and the necessary supporting documents by email to [email protected]. The required information includes the player’s first name, last name, email address, parentage and date of birth. The association clarified that U‑19 players can enter the auction only if they are JKCA‑registered and have played at least one match in First‑Class or List‑A cricket. For the 2027 season, a U‑19 player must have been born on or after 1 April 2008. All applications will be examined and verified before the association registers eligible players online. Only players who are registered with JKCA will be considered. Complete details and supporting documents must reach the association by 2:00 PM on 15 November 2026. Applications received after that deadline will not be accepted. The notice was issued following instructions from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
