PSG Secure 1-0 Victory Over Troyes to Extend Winning Streak

Paris Saint‑Germain won 1-0 against Troyes in Ligue 1 on Saturday, with Illia Zabarnyi scoring the only goal. The goal came in the 39th minute when Zabarnyi headed in a cross from Senny Mayulu, breaking a deadlock. The win marks PSG’s 11th consecutive victory across all competitions. The team played without several key players, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, Nuno Mendes, Maghnes Akliouche, and captain Marquinhos, all injured. Achraf Hakimi was rested and Joao Neves entered as a substitute. Despite the absences, PSG defeated the newly promoted side, who are expected to struggle for Ligue 1 survival. During the second half, Troyes had a chance when Renaud Ripart missed wide, and Lucas Maronnier’s late effort was ruled offside. PSG’s next fixtures include a trip to Nice after the international break and a Champions League home match against Roma. Earlier on Saturday, Paris FC beat Auxerre 1-0, with striker Lassine Sinayoko scoring from an assist by Pablo Pagis. Sinayoko, 26, is the league’s top scorer with nine goals in ten games. Paris FC sit second in the table, three points behind PSG. Lille and Lyon are within striking distance of the two capital clubs before their Sunday matches.
