Tengku Puteri Zainah Tengku Eskandar, the former wife of former Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, is in critical condition and is being treated in the intensive care unit on Level 1 of Gleneagles Hospital Ampang. The information was posted by her eldest son, Datuk Mohamad Nizar Mohamad Najib, on Facebook on Wednesday. In his message he asked family, friends and the public to pray for his mother’s health and recovery, urging Allah SWT to grant her strength, mercy and assistance during this difficult time. Najib Razak’s own Facebook account also shared a similar appeal, praying for Tengku Puteri Zainah’s strength and perseverance, a smooth course of treatment and the best possible recovery. Tengku Puteri Zainah, 65, is the mother of Nizar, Putri Norlisa and Mohd Nazifuddin.
