A 45‑year‑old Bengaluru cab driver, identified as S. Indushekhar, was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife and six of his in‑laws over a period of 15 to 20 days, city police commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said on Friday. The killings reportedly stemmed from a domestic dispute. Indushekhar is said to have disposed of the bodies at different locations. The case came to light after the mother of one of his sisters‑in‑law filed a missing‑person complaint, prompting police to uncover the multiple murders during their investigation. The timeline provided by the accused has not yet been verified, and six of the seven bodies are still missing. According to Singh, the accused claimed that his minor daughter helped him dispose of the bodies, a claim that police are currently verifying. The commissioner added that the accused said he called each victim one by one, murdered them, and disposed of the bodies at places he indicated, and that police are working with district SPs in those areas to confirm the details.
