Nakilat Reports LNG Carrier Al Mayeda Hit by Unidentified Objects in Arabian Gulf

Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) said its LNG carrier Al Mayeda was struck by unidentified objects while transiting the Arabian Gulf on Friday evening, Oct. 30, 2026. No crew members were injured and there was no environmental impact. The vessel remains in safe condition and operational. Nakilat confirmed that it is coordinating directly with the vessel, its crew and relevant maritime security authorities to ensure crew safety and is closely monitoring the situation while assessing the incident’s impact.
