French President Emmanuel Macron has underscored the strength of India-France relations, saying the two countries “deliver” when they work together. Speaking on entrepreneur Raj Shamani’s podcast, Macron reflected on the growing strategic, economic and technological partnership between the two nations.
During the conversation, Macron highlighted the shared democratic values and long-term trust that form the foundation of the bilateral relationship. He emphasised collaboration in areas such as defence, climate action, technology, education and clean energy, calling the partnership both strategic and forward-looking.
Macron noted that India and France have consistently supported each other on global platforms and have deepened cooperation in sectors ranging from aerospace and maritime security to artificial intelligence and nuclear energy. He described the relationship as one built not merely on diplomacy, but on tangible outcomes.
The French leader also spoke about engaging with India’s young population and entrepreneurs, expressing optimism about innovation-led cooperation. The appearance on the podcast was seen as part of a broader effort to connect with new-age audiences and highlight the evolving global role of India.

India and France have expanded ties significantly in recent years, including joint defence projects, Indo-Pacific cooperation and climate initiatives. Analysts say Macron’s remarks reinforce the importance both nations place on strengthening a multipolar global order.
As global geopolitics continues to shift, the India-France partnership remains one of the most stable and strategically aligned relationships in international diplomacy.
