French President Emmanuel Macron lauded India’s technological progress at the AI Impact Summit, stating that the country has achieved what “no other nation has been able to build.”
Speaking at the high-level gathering focused on artificial intelligence and global innovation, Macron highlighted India’s rapid digital transformation, strong talent pool, and its growing influence in shaping responsible AI frameworks.

The French leader emphasised that India’s scale — both in terms of population and digital infrastructure — makes its achievements unique. He praised India’s ability to combine innovation with inclusivity, pointing to digital public infrastructure and AI-led governance initiatives as standout examples.
Macron’s remarks come at a time when India is positioning itself as a key global player in artificial intelligence, data governance, and emerging technologies. The summit also underscored increasing collaboration between India and France in areas such as AI research, cybersecurity, defence technology, and climate-focused innovation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently advocated for ethical AI development and inclusive technological growth. India’s model of combining large-scale digital adoption with public platforms has drawn global attention, especially among developing nations.
Macron’s comments reflect strengthening India-France ties and signal growing international recognition of India’s leadership in the AI ecosystem.
