Mahindra is reportedly preparing two major SUV launches, with the Scorpio-N facelift expected around Diwali 2026 and a smaller “Mini Scorpio” based on the Vision S concept likely to arrive by the first quarter of 2027. The updated Scorpio-N is expected to receive refreshed styling, a more premium cabin, added technology, and possible feature upgrades such as a larger infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS, while its existing petrol and diesel engine options are likely to continue. The Mini Scorpio, meanwhile, is expected to carry rugged Scorpio-inspired design cues in a more compact package, helping Mahindra target buyers who want a tough SUV look with easier city usability. Both models could strengthen Mahindra’s SUV-heavy portfolio as competition grows in India’s midsize and compact SUV segments. The launches also show Mahindra’s focus on expanding its lifestyle SUV appeal beyond the Scorpio-N, Thar, XUV700, and upcoming electric models.
