SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 LIVE Updates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon release the results for SSC CGL Tier 1, exam for which was conducted in September. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the official website — ssc.gov.in — using login credentials such as roll number, date of birth, and password, once SSC CGL Tier 1 results are declared.
The Commission has not released any dates for the SSC CGL results so far. The SSC CGL exam was held between September 9 and 26, and provisional answer keys were published on October 4. Candidates could submit objections to the tentative answer key until October 8.
According to the SSC cut-off for CGL 2024, candidates in the open category need to achieve a minimum of 30 percent to pass the exam. Candidates from the OBC and EWS categories require at least 25 percent, while candidates from all other categories must obtain a minimum of 20 percent to pass.
Shortlisted candidates will be appointed to various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ positions across different ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India, as well as various constitutional bodies, statutory bodies, and tribunals. The allocation of positions will be based on the provisions outlined in the examination notice, following a merit-cum-preference system for post-selection.
