Carnival Cruise Line Debuts Interactive Twitch Event “Play Carnival” on Nov. 15

Carnival Cruise Line will launch an interactive Twitch livestream called Play Carnival on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. EST. The event will stream on Carnival’s Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok accounts. Viewers will control the action aboard the Carnival Celebration ship, voting on challenges, destinations, and surprise twists. Digital creator iJustine will navigate the ship while Carnival Fleet Cruise Director Erin Weigand will serve as her co‑pilot, relaying viewer requests and introducing new challenges. iJustine will aim to earn her Cruise Director badge as the livestream progresses. A live “Fun Meter” will track the energy of the adventure; if it reaches zero, the game ends. The livestream is part of Carnival’s “Carnival Is Calling” campaign and the “Find Your Fun Again” initiative, which aims to showcase Carnival’s signature experiences through gameplay. Michael Sotelo, vice president of brand, product and social media at Carnival Cruise Line, said the event brings gaming and cruising together and expands the brand’s connection with consumers.
