Show Hope Celebrates 10,000 Adopted Children with New Song and Grand Ole Opry Benefit

Christian music artist Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth have reached a milestone with their charity Show Hope, which has helped more than 10,000 children in 65 countries find permanent families. The couple founded the organization in 2003 with the goal of helping 100 children, and it has since expanded its grant programs. The milestone coincides with the release of Chapman’s new song “10,000 Reasons/Greater Things,” scheduled for 7 November 2026, which blends the worship classic with a thank‑you to families supported by the charity. To mark National Adoption Month and the 10,000‑child milestone, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville is hosting a benefit concert featuring Chapman, Carrie Underwood, Bill Anderson, and Louis York. Five dollars from each ticket sold will go directly to Show Hope’s Adoption Aid fund. Chapman said the partnership is special, noting that the Opry has been a part of his life since childhood and that the event honors the miracle of adoption and the work of Show Hope. Show Hope’s grant programs focus on removing financial barriers that often prevent families from completing adoption, covering agency fees, legal costs, and international travel. The organization also offers Medical Care grants for families caring for children with complex medical needs. Chapman thanked donors in a statement published by JubileeCast, saying, “Only God could have written a story like this. Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, and helped make this possible. We have 10,000 reasons to give thanks, and I believe the best is still ahead!” The benefit concert is part of broader efforts to raise awareness about child welfare and adoption throughout November. Tickets for the Opry event are available through the venue’s official ticketing system, and proceeds will support Show Hope’s ongoing grant programs.
