Arthur Back from Hamstring Injury, Could Feature in Santos’ Next Match

Arthur has recovered from a grade‑two injury to his right hamstring and may be selected by coach Cuca for the upcoming match against Red Bull Bragantino on Monday. Globo.com reports that the injury was sustained earlier in October and that Arthur has returned after the minimum four‑week recovery period for this type of injury. His contract with Santos expires in December, giving him five games to make an impact. The club has expressed satisfaction with his rehabilitation and his performances in recent appearances. Arthur, who joined Santos in late August after leaving Juventus, had been starting regularly and is expected to regain that role, though he may not start against Red Bull Bragantino. He could be named in the squad for around 30 minutes, likely after the interval. Santos consider Arthur a priority for the next season, and his future will be discussed after the presidential elections on 14 December. Since joining, he has played six matches and provided one assist. Following the Bragantino game, Santos will travel to Coritiba, host Grêmio, travel to Vitória and host Botafogo. The team sits eighth with 47 points, seven behind fifth‑placed Athletico‑PR.
