Playback singer and television host Rimi Tomy has announced that she will marry again, more than six years after her first marriage ended in divorce. The singer revealed the news in a video posted on her YouTube channel, saying that a suitable partner has entered her life and that the wedding will take place soon.

In the video, Tomy explained that she has always loved traveling and living independently, and although her family has been supportive, she felt she lacked a life partner. She added that in 2026 someone came into her life and that she feels the decision is a gift from God.

Tomy did not disclose the name of her future husband but clarified that he is not a celebrity, actor, singer, or millionaire. She said that a life partner should be someone who understands each other openly, shares a matching vibe, and helps both grow personally and professionally, emphasizing that money or fame are not priorities.

She noted that although they have known each other for a short time, they have quickly understood each other and that she feels very peaceful. Tomy said she will share more details about her partner soon and asked for prayers and love.

Tomy was previously married to businessman Royce Kizhakoodan on 27 April 2008 in Thrissur. The couple filed for divorce in 2020, with a petition submitted on 16 April, and the case was heard at the Ernakulam Family Court.

Tomy began her career as a singer with the music troupe Angel Voice. She was discovered by mimicry artist and composer Nadirshah, who introduced her to director Lal Jose and composer Vidyasagar. She made her playback singing debut in the 2002 film Meesa Madhavan, with the song “Chingamaasam” becoming a chart‑topping hit. She has since hosted popular television shows and sung in many successful films such as Chathikkatha Chanthu, Nammal Thammil, Udayananu Tharam, Balram vs Tharadas, Chotta Mumbai, Chocolate, Mulla, Elsamma Enna Aankutty, and Body Guard.
