Tzolis Back in Arsenal Lineup for Liverpool Clash

Arsenal’s winger Christos Tzolis will start the Premier League match against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. The summer signing had missed the previous six games after a hamstring injury sustained during international duty at the start of last month. Manager Mikel Arteta made several changes to the side that played in the Carabao Cup midweek. Of the eleven who started at Fleetwood, only Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz kept their places. Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes were recalled to the starting XI after not being named in the previous Premier League game against Everton. Noni Madueke also returned to complete the front three alongside Tzolis and Havertz. Liverpool also made several changes after their midweek cup win on penalties against Chelsea at Anfield. Goalkeeper Alisson returned, as did Jeremy Jacquet, Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, Alexis Mac Allister, Bradley Barcola and Alexander Isak. Dominik Szoboszlai was fit enough to return to the bench. Arsenal’s starting lineup: Raya, Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Bruno, Odegaard, Madueke, Tzolis, Havertz. Substitutes: Arrizabalaga, Mosquera, White, Hincapie, Eze, Gyokeres, Merino, Zubimendi, Lewis‑Skelly. Liverpool’s starting lineup: Alisson, Araujo, Jacquet, van Dijk, Kerkez, Mac Allister, Nyoni, Wirtz, Gakpo, Barcola, Isak.
