Amul to Introduce Protein‑Rich Savory Snack on Oct. 30
By Asmi Saxena

Amul will launch a high‑protein savory snack on Friday, October 30, as part of its effort to expand protein offerings beyond dairy. The product, which took more than a year of research and development, is intended to deliver protein comparable to a scoop of protein powder while keeping calories in check. Brand manager Shefali Vijaywargiya announced the launch in a post on X on Thursday, noting that the snack is designed for on‑the‑go consumption and can be customised to suit individual preferences. Amul has not yet disclosed the snack’s exact protein content, calorie count, ingredients, serving size, name, flavours, price or availability. The company aims to help Indians meet a target of at least 1 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day, and the new product is intended to make protein‑rich snacking a regular part of daily routines.
