By MC Tech Desk

Krafton India announced that electronic music artist Alan Walker will perform at the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup (BMIC) 2026 in Mumbai on October 30. The show will take place at the Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium (NSCI), on the opening day of the three‑day esports tournament. The announcement was made in partnership with ticketing platform District. The tournament runs from October 30 to November 1 and will feature 16 teams from India, South Korea and Japan competing for a prize pool of Rs 1 crore and qualification spots for the Global Championship 2026. Tickets are available through District; Mumbai listings start at Rs 499, with prices and seating options varying by booking. Walker previously collaborated with BGMI in 2024 through the ‘Be A Hero’ campaign, where his track ‘Hero’ was used as lobby music and in related in‑game events. He said he was looking forward to performing for the BGMI community in person and bringing gaming and music together at the tournament. Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at Krafton India, said the performance would extend Walker’s association with the game to a live event. The tournament will feature six Indian teams—iQOO SouL, Gladiators Esports, iQOO 8Bit, K9 Esports, Blitz Epigrotive Gaming and Outrage Esports—plus five teams each from South Korea and Japan, though the names of those teams have not yet been announced. The event will be held at an indoor, air‑conditioned venue with pre‑assigned seating. All attendees, regardless of age, require tickets. Food, beverages and paid parking will be available at the venue.
