Strikers Announce 12‑Player Squad for WBBL Season Opener
The Adelaide Strikers have announced a 12‑player squad for their Weber WBBL season opener against the Melbourne Stars at Karen Rolton Oval tomorrow afternoon. Captained by Tahlia McGrath, the squad includes international stars and promising local talent. English opener Maia Bouchier is set to make her Strikers debut, alongside fan favourites Laura Wolvaardt and Sophie Ecclestone. Emerging fast bowlers Ella Wilson and Maggie Clark are also named and will aim to impact the game in front of a home crowd. Strikers coach Luke Williams said the group is eager to start the season before its passionate supporters. "We're really looking forward to putting on a show for our amazing fans at Karen Rolton Oval," Williams said.
