Cardinals’ Love and Wilson Clear to Play, Boosting Week 8 Fantasy Lineups

Fantasy managers with Arizona Cardinals holdings have received a welcome update ahead of the Week 8 slate. Running back Jeremiyah Love and wide receiver Michael Wilson have both been declared healthy and are slated to play. Love, who had a recent ankle injury, is expected to resume his role as the Cardinals’ primary back. He is projected to be a must‑start in the RB2 category, especially given the Dallas Cowboys’ difficulty stopping the run, allowing 22.6 PPR fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Even if Love’s snap share is slightly reduced, his big‑play potential aligns well with a defense that leaks yardage on the ground. The return of Love also means temporary replacements Bam Knight and Tyler Allgeier are downgraded to the waiver wire and can be dropped if a manager needs bench space.
Wilson, who dealt with a rib issue earlier in the week, is also cleared to play. After the Cardinals’ trade sending Marvin Harrison Jr. to Houston, Wilson has become the focal point of the passing attack. He is projected as a reliable WR2 or high‑end flex option. Dallas’ secondary has been porous, surrendering 29.5 PPR fantasy points per game to wide receivers, placing it among the bottom six units in terms of coverage. Wilson is expected to benefit from this matchup. The update also stabilizes quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s target share and does not significantly affect tight end Trey McBride, who remains a weekly stud regardless of outside receiver targets.
These developments provide a boost for managers who have been adjusting lineups amid recent injuries and bye weeks. The Cardinals’ key offensive contributors are back on the field for Week 8.
