Sri Lanka to Announce Monthly Fuel Price Revision at Midnight

The government’s monthly fuel pricing formula will be applied to the regular fuel price revision, which is set to be announced at midnight on 31. Global crude oil price changes have led to speculation that fuel prices in Sri Lanka may rise with this revision, but no official increase has yet been announced. The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) will publish the revised prices effective from midnight on the last day of each month. Other fuel retailers in Sri Lanka, such as Lanka IOC and Sinopec, are also expected to adjust their prices in line with CPC’s revision.
