Celebrities Showcase Creative Halloween Costumes From Pop Stars to Classic Characters
By Neia Balao

Actors, musicians, athletes and public figures have turned Halloween into a showcase of creativity, with many opting for elaborate or playful transformations. Harry Styles, 32, opened his first of two “Harryween” shows at Madison Square Garden by recreating his 2010 X‑Factor audition, complete with a grey cardigan, yellow scarf and pinned‑on audition number. He also performed as Elvis Presley in a white sequined jumpsuit and cape, with Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough in the audience. Paris Hilton continued her tradition of dressing up as Britney Spears, this time mirroring the pop star’s look from the “I’m a Slave 4 U” music video. Hilton also included her family in a “Beauty and the Beast” ensemble: her husband Carter Reum played the Beast, their son Phoenix was Lumière, daughter London was Chip and Hilton was Belle, a choice that drew online backlash. The family also appeared as the Addams family, with Hilton as Morticia Addams. Lily Allen dressed as Ticketmaster’s infamous seating map, wearing a white puffer and leotard covered with blue dots. She posted the costume on Instagram with the caption, “Never beating the allegations. #bluedotfever.” During the Today show broadcast, hosts Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Jenna Bush Hager revealed their costumes, including Guthrie as an old‑school news anchor, Roker as Gumby and Hager as Phoebe Buffay from Friends. Carson Daly’s favorite was his portrayal of country singer Ella Langley, complete with fringe. Kim Kardashian dressed as her daughter North West, mimicking the child’s electric‑blue hair, piercings and hand‑covering‑mouth pose. Keke Palmer and her son Leodis recreated the 1995 “Scream” music video, with Palmer as Janet Jackson and Leodis as Michael Jackson. Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner appeared as PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson from the duo’s “Stateside” music video, wearing glam crop tops that caught Larsson’s attention. Lisa Rinna transformed into Kylie Jenner, recreating Jenner’s bright orange Chrome Hearts column gown and long black hair from the Marty Supreme premiere. Model Alex Consani became a Thumb‑Thumb from the 2001 film Spy Kids, wearing a red suit. Cara Delevingne portrayed Leeloo from The Fifth Element. Former Nickelodeon star Liz Gillies dressed as Luke from Halloweentown. Love Island USA star Serena Page became Raven‑Symoné from That’s So Raven. Troye Sivan appeared as Woody from Toy Story. Janelle Monáe, at the Wondaween Festival in Los Angeles, transformed into “Phish Boy,” a fish‑like sea creature. McCall DaPron and her family dressed as the Kennedy family, while her husband Kirk DaPron and their four children also appeared as the Kennedys. Knicks star Karl‑Anthony Towns and his wife Jordyn Woods went as Game of Thrones villains, with Towns as the Night King and Woods as a White Walker. Chlöe Bailey dressed as Hot Meg Griffin from Family Guy, wearing a pink top, jean miniskirt, silver boots and Meg’s pink hat. The “Boy Meets World” cast—Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle—recreated their 1993 Halloween costumes for a podcast special, appearing as a French maid, the Joker and Batman.
