Hong Kong Sixes 2026 Trophy Unveiled Ahead of 12‑Team Tournament

The new trophy for the 22nd edition of the Hong Kong Sixes was unveiled on Thursday in Hong Kong. Captains from all 12 participating teams, including defending champions Pakistan and rivals India, attended the ceremony and posed with the silverware on a rooftop overlooking the city.

The tournament will feature 12 teams divided into four groups of three. Group C contains Pakistan, India and the United Arab Emirates. Group A has Australia, host Hong Kong, China and England. Group B includes Bangladesh, Scotland and Sri Lanka. Group D is made up of South Africa, Oman and Afghanistan.

The opening day on Friday, October 30, will host nine matches. The first game, Australia vs Hong Kong, China, starts at 5:45 AM PST, followed by Bangladesh vs Scotland at 6:40 AM. Pakistan will begin their campaign against the UAE at 7:35 AM PST and face India at 11:15 AM the same day. Saturday, October 31, will see the remaining group‑stage matches and the start of the knockout phase. The top teams from each group advance to the Cup semi‑finals, second‑placed sides to the Plate semi‑finals, and third‑placed teams to the Bowl semi‑finals.

The final day, Sunday, November 1, will feature the Cup, Plate and Bowl finals. The Cup final is scheduled for 12:10 PM PST, the Plate final at 11:15 AM and the Bowl final at 10:20 AM. The full match schedule for the tournament is as follows:
