Jamie Ager Faces Criticism Over Drag Queen Performances at Youth Events

Jamie Ager has come under scrutiny after hosting the “Beer City Sisters,” a drag troupe whose members use stage names such as “Sister Helen Bedd” and “Sister Domina Trix,” at an event that encouraged children to attend. Ager’s campaign also reportedly attempted to donate to “Blue Ridge Pride,” a festival described as “family-friendly” that featured performers with names like “Divine Holeburn” and “Will Pounder.” Critics question why Ager appears more concerned about being labeled as radical and far‑left than about the potential exposure of children to sexualized performances. The NRCC spokesperson, Reilly Richardson, stated that Ager owes North Carolina voters answers for his attempts to promote such performers to young audiences.
