Hindon Airport to Offer Six Winter Flights to Six Cities Until Mid‑April 2027

Hindon civil airport will operate six flights to six cities under a winter schedule that will run from the last week of October until mid‑April 2027, officials said on Wednesday. The winter timetable will feature four flights by one airline and two flights by another, serving Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Varanasi, Nanded and Adampur. The reduction from the current 10‑11 flights in the summer schedule is due to winter weather conditions and the ongoing conflict in West Asia, the officials added. Hindon civil airport, located in Sikandarpur near the IAF base in Sahibabad, uses the airbase runway for civil operations and began service in October 2019. The information was reported by Peeyush Khandelwal, a Ghaziabad‑based journalist covering western Uttar Pradesh.
