The couple first met while filming the tvN drama *Memorist* in March 2020, where Yoo played Dong Baek, a psychic detective, and Im played Lee Seul‑bi. They reportedly kept their relationship private, later appearing together with Yoo’s dog in Seoul’s Mapo District and on dates in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
