In his place, <strong>Shahbaz Ahmed<\/strong> has been called up to join the squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an official statement from the <strong>Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)<\/strong>, Axar remains with the team in <strong>Lucknow<\/strong>, where he is being monitored by the medical staff. That game also saw <strong>Jasprit Bumrah<\/strong> sit out due to personal reasons. <strong>Kuldeep Yadav<\/strong> and <strong>Harshit Rana<\/strong> were drafted in as replacements, helping India cruise to a <strong>seven-wicket victory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mixed Performances from Axar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>first T20I<\/strong> in <strong>Cuttack<\/strong>, Axar made a solid all-round contribution. He scored <strong>23 runs<\/strong> and delivered an economical spell, picking up <strong>2 wickets for just 7 runs<\/strong>.
